Love in a Mist with (obligatory) bee
Lots of talking today and help with Doreen which is going some way to giving us some respite in the coming days before we travel to the Lakes next Friday.
All 4 of us walked up to Detling to call in at the community shop for a coffee. We were disappointed as we were hoping for a scone to go with it but they’d not had a delivery.
Not much accomplished in the afternoon owing to not being back for lunch until gone 2.00pm. Susan and I had a little duetting together before tea.
Today’s blip is of one of our neighbour’s rampant Love in a Mist flowers complete with pollen flecked bee. These are all self seeded and are invading the front “lawn”
On the allotment front I’ve been contacted by a reporter from the local Kent Messenger who is interested in the story. I’ve also been posting on Facebook to encourage individuals to view the Council’s plans and feedback comments to the Clerk. The more responses the Council have, the better.
In California, news came through that Chris’s divorce was finalised at last today. I hesitate to say good news. It’s news of great sadness of course for Chris, DeShaun and little Landon. Now everyone can move on from a couple of years of very challenging circumstances.
