African iris

I had thought that this flower was an Australian native but my reseach taught me otherwise. African iris are planted by councils around the base of street trees and other public spaces. They are low maintenance, like everything council plants these days.

Today we saw the sun but it was still very cold. Enjoying a hot water bottle as I write.
