This weather is MAD!

Today we left the 'Isle of Wight' so I got up early to have a walk on Sandown Beach. It was a beautiful morning but extremely cold and the ice on the pavements hadn't melted since the snow on Monday. Ann had to wear her padded trousers, 'thin with all the warmth' walking top, padded anorak, walking boots & gloves.

Stopped off at Lyme Regis on the way home so that I could have another play and Ann could have lunch. It was so hot and sunny there that we sat outside for lunch and Ann had to take her coat off so she was just sitting in jeans and a thin cardi!!!

Then drove down the A30 through Devon into Cornwall and we had to drive through horrendous snow and hailstones.

Arrived back in St Ives this evening where it's chucking it down with rain.
