Zoo trip!

My sister and I went to the zoo yesterday. The Denver Zoo is still working on limited amount of people so you have to reserve tickets to get in. They have also extended the summer hours which is great and I hope it continues. It was hot here yesterday but I had reserved the 8:30 entrance time. I was hopeful that getting there that early more animals would have been up and about in the cool of the morning, this was not the case. Monkeys were just starting to move about and this one posed. I didn't even bring the real camera so phone picture it is.

I will say the horticulture team has done some wonderful landscaping, plant life was beautiful! The zoo has also added a manta ray exhibit that you can feed and touch them. Kinda cool, my sister absolutely loved it. Because there are still limited people we were able to stay without being bumped by anyone for a good amount of time. We were done at about 10:30 and it was already 86 degrees Fahrenheit or 30 degrees Celsius.

It was a good morning at the zoo then I went home, played with puppies and took a nap. Overall a pretty good day off.
