This morning we went down to Leasowe lighthouse and there is a lay by where one of my friends told me there was a good possibility of seeing birds. There were lots and we saw even more than I have posted. In extras there is a collage of four birds and a starling.This is first starling I have seen locally this year. On the collage there is a male and female stonechat, a juvenile finch and another bird. I find it very difficult to identify birds on the computer, I must invest in a book! We did a walk in the area and also saw a song thrush, some green finches, goldfinches and some we didn't recognise! We will definitely be going back again.
