Elderflower

The elder flowers are just beginning to open. I think a batch of cordial can be made soon. There’s only about half a bottle left from last year.
Another busy day. A really good walk in the woods this morning. There’s quite a wind today so we were well sheltered in the wood.
Then home to make pancakes as I had three friends coming round for a cuppa. I bought strawberries this morning from the farm just up the road and cream to whip up so we could have pancakes with cream and strawberries.
We had hoped to sit in the garden but it was just too breezy. So we blethered all afternoon sitting at the kitchen table. It was lovely.
