Helmsdale

We made our second pilgrimage down to Helmsdale to view the gorse.  We'd tried last Saturday but everywhere was socked in.  It's slightly past its best, and I don't think it's quite as good this year, but still worth the drive.  Then a wander down to the harbour, where there was a flock of kittiwakes having a wash in the brackish water of the river mouth.
