Panda in Nowton Park
Nowton Park is on the edge of Bury St Edmunds and for years there was a wooden sculpture of a panda bear located inside it - why, I've never known. Recently, in the last few weeks, it has been retired and a new one has been put in its place. There are bamboo plants nearby so he or she shouldn't starve. Come to think of it I think the local newspaper is running a competition to name the animal.
