Thames Estuary

This is the view from the back garden of a friend who lives in Higham, Kent. The farmland leads down to the Thames estuary with Tilbury on the opposite bank and Canvey Island to the east. Our friend has very sadly lost his wife recently after a short illness,  and family and friends gathered this afternoon to celebrate her memory. Fittingly, the sun shone for a special person who will be very fondly remembered.
