Sunny Kelvingrove

Had a day off today (flexi time!) so spent it at the Mitchell Library working away on the thesis. Managed to get a good bit done and it seems like I'm getting there slowly but surely - cannae wait till it's finished right enough.

The Mitchell is located on the other side of Kelvingrove Park to where Sarah and I live so it was great to have an excuse to walk through the Park - to be honest it was so nice that it's probabaly worth doing it every day for the 5 minutes extra it takes to get to work.

It was really cool to see so many different people using the park for a whole bunch of different reasons - lots of mums and dads taking kids to Hillhead Primary, dog walkers, runners, cyclists, other folk walking to work, what looked (and sounded) like some sort of international exchange programme heading to the uni and other folk just basking in the spring sunshine and taking it all in. Noice.
