ARTICHOKE

Today, a friend & I visited
THE LAS FLORES COMMUNITY GARDEN, in a nearby town. Which is where I saw this ARTICHOKE flower. I had no idea they
are so beautiful!

This community garden is where gardeners can pay as low as $22.50 per year to
grow herbs, flowers, vegetables or a mix.
That includes water!

Each plot has a personality & is wonderful.
There is also a BUTTERFLY GARDEN where we saw Monarch & Swallowtail Butterflies.

It was so fun to meander through this
happy place where gardeners rule &
everywhere something delicious or beautiful is growing.

After, my friend & I visited a restaurant that specialized in ice cream & burgers. It was delicious & I hope to return with my grandchildren.

What a fun day with great company.
