Route Canal (last one, I promise!)

I rather liked this picture, which I took just as the sun was setting.

To me, the colours and reflections are reminiscent of Canaletto. (You however, may say it's more a case of 'Cannytakeaphoto'........)

(Do you think Canaletto really was his name? Or did he call himself that, because of his fondness for the waterways of Venice? If, for instance, he'd preferred painting fields, would he have named himself Cornetto?)

Just wondering....
