Rottenrow

Today I had a meeting with my client form Strathclyde Uni. I say a meeting - it was a lunch meeting. Ok so when I say a lunch meeting, I just mean lunch. En route I stopped off at Rottenrow Maternity Hospital, or what's left of it after it was demolished. This is the north portico on Glasgow's well known and ancient thoroughfare - Rottenrow, next to Strathclyde Uni's famous School of Engineering.

I sprinted through these very doors 12 years, 3 months and 28 days ago, childless and innocent. I staggered out a mere 24 hours later looking like I'd been in a plane crash and suffering from shell shock. The joys of parenthood had only just begun!
