new moon

I took a quick spin up a hill this evening to see if I could see the comet, to find lots of people already there looking for it, which for Mull is a shock as you normally have places to yourself! They managed to spot it through binocs, but I had to rush back to domestic duties so didn't have time. I did get this pic of the moon though. Jobs done, I then took myself out for some night sky watching, took some annoyingly blurry pics of the moon and the stars, and am now back home - FROZEN! I can't feel the tip of one of my forefingers! Eat your heart out Ranulph Fiennes :)
