Flags

I expect there are flags of several colours flying in Cornwall at the moment.
I wish our leaders well in their attempt to find consensus on which the future of 
the human race may depend.

I am content to be enjoying a different kind of flag.
This is commonly known as Yellow Flag or more formally Yellow Iris
( Iris pseudocorus).

It is common in wetlands on the edges of lakes, streams and ponds and is one of the
glories of late Spring/early Summer.
