Cabbage

I felt a lot more could have been done with this if I hadn't left it in the fridge for too long, always meaning to get around to it. I love the red cabbage you get on the salads that come with kebabs but sadly they don't seem to be much use for anything else.

The weekend looks like it will be busy so what would have been Sunday's tidy round had to be done today. One of the people who was made redundant at the same time as me last year has manged to make it twice in 12 months and is off to Oz so his party is from 3pm on Saturday. Pals from Sheffield come up for a few days on Sunday just before the Newcastle game kicks off, so that is Sunday in the pub too.

Monday is cancelled...

Oh, and the cat has sustained another injury. It seems someone out there on the mean streets of Edinburgh's Abbeyhill has a score to settle with the poor fellow.
