Insect?

I think my husband has poor eyesight, because he thought it was an insect I had photographed. It is a green hydrangea. Now he is in trouble, there will probably be no dessert for him.

Now he tries to excuse himself by saying that it was only the middle that was an insect, not the whole flower.
