Sunbathing Speckled Wood Butterfly 

Yet another dawn wake up call from the family of Jackdaws who live nearby, so a weary day, sunny, and at one point reaching 24 on the patio. Watched The Trooping of The Colour, hacked back some shrubs in the garden, asked a neighbour to come round and remove the dead starling I found in the flowerbed, read in the sun until the flying critters drove me inside, watched some footie. Shocking viewing in the Danish v Finland match; thank goodness the latest news update is positive...
