Bee Orchid

Rather late posting today, I’m afraid. 

This beautiful bee orchid - another first for me - shows itself peeping out from the meadow grass on our walk through Conwy’s RSPB this afternoon. Glorious warmth and sunshine accompany us, and energise on a day when I’m struggling from a night of broken sleep.  

Returning to the house, I collapse into an afternoon of reading, even managing the garden hammock without falling out  - hence the delay in sorting out my blip! 

Another orchid in extras - this time a marsh orchid I think!
