The Town That Never Was...

Ravenscar, the 'New Blackpool', so they claimed. Streets were laid, sewers dug.

Not quite the seaside resort location some had hoped being high up on a rocky headland... 

I dropped my daughters off here so they could walk the Cleveland Way to Robin Hood's Bay. I'm pleased to say the Victorians managed to build what is now a nice little tea room. Not much else was built.

I've made my Blip to look like an old seaside postcard.
