River Glenderamackin
SATURDAY
Our last day in the Lake District and I headed out on a run at 6:50 am. The River Glenderamakin is two fields away from the back of the cottage where we are staying. The word derives from the Welsh glyndwfr y mochyn, meaning 'the river valley (glyndwfr) of the pig (mochyn)'.
I failed to spot any pigs.
