I'm sure I'm next I was here first.....

Our newly renovated bird table had a queue of woodpigeons within 10 minutes. It had to be repaired after an onslaught of jackdaws brought it crashing to the ground last year. Modifications will be needed to restrict access to smaller birds as the big birds can scoff the birdseed at an alarming and expensive rate. A little later there was an entire crow in there. The resident magpie pair were feigning indifference and stalking around looking handsome and nonchalant but will be next in line I expect.
