First day in Norfolk
Walked to a little lake near our holiday house this morning (main) which has rare dragonflies called Norfolk Hawkers, which live where the plant in this lake - called Water Soldier - is found. Really beautiful, we also saw a herd of fallow deer, but not a chance of taking a photo!
In the afternoon we went to a seaside town on the northwest coast, called Cromer. It’s an absolute gem of a place. Friendly, no litter at all, people enjoying swimming in the sea and playing on the beach, ice-cream and fish and chips:) 1st extra
Also we popped into a village called Aylsham to find a greengrocer - and we found a medieval market place, and a 14th century church. I had to get a blip of the south side of the church, partly for Fuentes3 who seems to like old churches. Especially when they are a bit crumbly!
