There is a petting zoo at the park.

I was doing my (not) parkrun and spotted one of the staff playing on the grass with a duckling.

They picked him up introduce me.

He and his sibling had been dropped into the park by a seagull. Jerry hadn't survived but Ben was being looked after until he was big enough to be released. I saw him later, sat on their shoulder, peaking out from beneath a polo shirt whilst they worked.
