Welp, they gave me a broken cookie, but I guess the fortune was pretty decent: "a sense of humor is one of your greatest assets."

A new pope was elected today: Pope Francis. Ferris was watching the chimney all day and I sometimes watched it with her. It was a lot of watching nothing happen, but interesting enough for when there was white smoke and when the pope was announced. I'm curious to see how things start going now with this new man in charge.

Dropped my car off to get the tires checked out and turns out that the rear breaks had to be replaced and they had to flush the fluid. It's always something, isn't it?

When I got home, our cat, Cosmo, was across the street. I think he was bullying another cat. He was acting all weird and walked so slowly across the street to come home and then wouldn't come in and walked back across the street to the other cat. The two of them preceded to stare at each other for five minutes until I called Cosmo back. He came slowly again and when he finally came near I picked him up off the street and brought him in. What a weirdo and boy does my storytelling need some assistance. Oh wellz.
