Pretty Perth

A walk along the Tay this morning, towards Willowgate (which was closed, unfortunately). First call was the viewpoint at Rodney Gardens where a kingfisher has been making a regular appearance. Not today though. 2 gentlemen with very big lenses on their cameras had been waiting for an hour but not seen it. Not having that kind of patience, I waited five minutes and then continued on my walk. Half way to Willowgate there is a small flooded area, and what should be sitting on a fallen tree - the kingfisher! Unfortunately it spotted me before I spotted it and so it flew before I had a chance to take its photo.
