Keeping Cool

Yes, same sofa as yesterday. But the cats have swapped places, so this is Chaiyya keeping me company this morning.

Outside, the first heatwave of 2021 is building up. There isn't a cloud in the sky, so we get 16 hours of sunshine per day. And the forecast sounds ominous: 30 degrees C tomorrow, 31 on Tuesday, 34 on Wednesday and 36 on Thursday. In the shade, of course.

Time to close down my office under the south-west facing roof, and install a temporary workspace downstairs, in the living room. Otherwise my brain will feel like scrambled eggs at the end of every workday.
