One of our top food memories was many years ago going to a bar down near the docks in the old town of Genoa in late spring where they served broad beans in their pods with the drinks.

Ever since then we have saved our beans for eating out the pod drinks. Today we had some of our harvest in a shady corner with a chilled Sauvignon Blanc. Perfect!
