Sunday Teas Are Back!!

While the rest of the UK are having a heatwave, we had a dull day!  Showers throughout the day, heavier at times, and windy most of the day.

Up early!  Me, peerie Brian and Julie, headed north with the dogs and caught the ferries to Fetlar.  We also met mam on the ferry, and she came with us.  A day exploring the isle, walkies and tea and cake.  On the way home, we popped by Tommy and Lorraine, to see their new home in Yell.  It has dried up a bit tonight, but Sammy is knackered, so a quiet night by the fire.

As soon as I saw the advert for Sunday Teas, the ferries were booked, and I was going, regardless!  It's been a few weeks waiting, but we were not disappointed.  Not quite the same as a usual Teas, where you would pick your own sandwiches and cake, along with a cuppa, this was table service.  This has been the first Sunday Teas in Shetland in over a year, and they made over £200 for the hall funds. There was also craft sales.  Hopefully we'll see the return of many more across the isles.  Julie, mam and peerie Brian at the table, in the Fetlar Hall.
