It's a clever idea but I'm not convinced that XR using plastic to draw attention to rising sea levels is a great idea...

Before this gathering on Port Meadow, rather a lot of us had a gentle cycle ride round town.

After this I indulged in a bit of hypocrisy of my own - lighting a bonfire in the garden to get rid of a several months' worth of accumulated dead ivy. What should I have done with it? Hired a car to drive it to the recycling centre? 

Anyway, it provided a good opportunity for daughter and me to eat sausages and drink wine together.
