Elderflower day

Idyllic walk out in the morning to pick the blossoms and start making the cordial then went over to Mum’s to have a drink and plant out some nicotiana.  

Walked on Harting down which was glorious - spent quite a lot of time finding our house through the binoculars from the top.  Shocking again to see how many dead ash trees there are up there, but the huge lone one in the middle of the valley still seems in fine shape.
