THE MILITARY CANAL...

...at Hythe.
The Rev has booked the hotel on the seafront for our actual Anniversary...34 Years! (41 together)

We visit Hythe regularly but somehow The Rev got lost 3 times!!! We had a picnic lunch when we arrived in the hotel gardens...it was so peaceful. The Rev had booked me for a facial at the spa so that was relaxing. However covid restrictions meant he couldn’t read around the pool area. So when he saw a group of 6 people sitting on the steps chatting he got his book and stood in the pool to read :)))))

The we went for a stroll along the canal to the town. Found a cute little sparkly cardigan for my new great niece (who I didn’t know would be born this evening a few weeks early ......baby Madeleine.

Our room was ready when we returned....a lovely room with a massive bed, overlooking the gardens.

In the evening we walked back into town for a meal...as we sat down a woman approached us and hoovered due to masks it took me a while to realise it was Clair one of my Golden Girl friends who had come to join us. We had a lovely meal and a stroll back to the hotel for coffee.

A relaxing but busy day.
