Helloooooo

The exuvia appears to be waving...or laughing at me - there is definitely a smiley face!  I was a bit later coming down today, drew back the curtain and watched a darter fly away.  Drat! I went to the pond and found 3 more exuvia so I have had a total now of 8 fly .... I must admit it had been so long since the last one I thought they'd all hatched so had not been looking carefully for a couple of days.....my mistake.
Anyway, I put the case on a pulsatilla seed head where it held on steady as a rock.....
