Party & Pandemonium

Backblipped on 14/6/21 for Sunday.

Total madness here. We only ventured out early and then again very late in the afternoon. Aside from the heat, everyone was descending on beautiful Bournemouth beach. Streets gridlocked. parking full. What some would call a party atmosphere, for me it was pandemonium.

Cars parked anywhere and everywhere. On pavements, roundabouts, verges, double yellows. Forcing pedestrians to walk on the road (luckily traffic slow-moving,, as gridlocked). 4 bare torsoed idiots parked in our block’s drive, and drove off leaving discarded cans and bottles strewn on the ground.

Read many had left their cars for the day on private property, preventing residents from parking. One returned to find the perpetrators using her electric charging point!

My collage illustrates both sides of the coin. The 4 lively lads were probably rejoicing having a found a free space in a local hotel - hope they weren’t clamped (if they hadn’t been so cute I might have felt differently)
