Diminishing returns

On Saturday I saw three babies, today only two.  If I’d had my camera with me I could have captured the two babies and two females under the feeders this afternoon.  Not only do these females demand food (they come and stand next to me and lead me across to where the feed usually spills on the floor) but they’ve also been pecking at my newly planted Cosmos and I’ve come to the conclusion that it was them that has demolished my runner bean plants.!!

Meadowhall Hall this morning to return pillowcases - I got the colour wrong.  (two very close blues) but they didn’t have the colour I wanted.
