Anyone for chess?

It’s been an odd day. My son has had to get the pest controllers in to try and find a ‘queen’ bee - they have been swarming. Then on the way shopping I found out my aunt in Malvern has had yet another fall, with her dementia I’m not sure what we can do - she’s a very independent lady! These lovely pieces, made by hubby had to be rescued when we had a flood in the kitchen- I like them, just not sure I want to be playing with them!
