Burnet Companion
The ox-eye daisies are looking lovely in our meadow. Strange how some different creatures congregate together. The day-flying moth above is a burnet companion, so-called because it is often found in the same area as burnet and Mother Shipton moths, which both fly during the day. I hope it is a good indicator as I love photographing these. Burnets are very striking colours with clubbed antennae and mother Shipton has what looks like a hook-nosed witch wing pattern.
