Des Res on't Canal!

Keeping this short and sweet as I'm knackered - Frank even more so as he was doing the locks.
We made it to Leeds. It's been really cold and windy all day. I sometimes had a job
keeping the boat from being blown across the canal while waiting to go into locks but managed quite well. A hire boat accompanied us through the locks with 2 couples on board. We were first in Leeds Docks and there appeared to be only one space left. However once we'd moored up we noticed there were big gaps between the other boats. Frank knocked on them and politely asked if they would be so kind as to all move up a bit closer to let the hire boat in. In 15 minutes the job was done and everybody in! The boating community is a kind and friendly one. 
I'm back in full thermals! :-0
