Two of my purchases from yesterdays car boot sale came in handy today , a book about Thomas the Tank Engine and a small, neatly upholstered stool. I've used the stool  lots of times today , playing with LBB, putting on /taking off boots. LBB found it a comfortable place to perch too while he looked through his new book. 
The morning was spent at a lovely play area at Ribchester in the Ribble Valley , well know for its Roman Baths and other Roman artefacts. The dumper truck and digger , also bought for pence at the car boot sale, were perfect for use in the sandpit .
Finished the day with a delicious  tea at my daughters  and then a walk up in the moors with my good friend Alison .
Such a lot to be grateful for .
