Same old story!!

Ahh the joys of following the Scottish football team...

Way back in the Day... 1978 to be precise.. Was the first time that I watched Scotland in a major football tournament... The World Cup. Much was promised by "Ally's Tartan Army" then after getting beaten by Peru then drawing with the mighty Iran, we only had to beat Holland by about 3 goals to progress.

Archie Gemmells wonder goal will live with me and many others forever and at 3-1 to Scotland, you thought... "Just Mibbees"... Then Holland scored. Scotland won 3-2 but went out of the tournament on Away Goals.

Nothing much has changed since then and it's been along time since we were in a major tourney.

Today we started badly in the Euros, but Friday is on its way... Wembley will be the destination... We will dream, we will boogie and there will be the promise of much but you just know how it will all end.....

Then again mibbees this time!!!!
