HI HO HI HO!

A while back now I was told that at certain times the Soldier Crabs come out.....and when they do the whole of the little beach moves and wobbles with the most beautiful blue. Every time I come to this beach (I call it 356 beach...its where I did that blip) I look for them. Today I totally forgot.

I have just invested in a manfrotto tripod and was wanting to experiment with some LE shots........(I really do not have it down yet)...when I arrived at the beach a lady said to me 'are you taking photos of the crabs?'....CRABS! Oh WOW! Yes a little toward the water there they were..........how lucky was I to see this....there were thousands of them and I wasn't disappointed in the color either.

I have to say I was rather challenged to post this as I did have some other beautiful
images to post (the light on the water was beautiful this afternoon) but.... then...well...I don't know when I will see these guys again and the are such brilliant little things I just really wanted to share them with you.

Rumi kept on chasing them so they buried themselves really quick..I love the way they spiral into the sand............this is them running away from ME when I finally got Rumi under some type of control.
