Science is real #2

Getting in early with my blip for today - out all morning, need to do some serious ironing and packing preparation this afternoon, and will be out this evening at a trustee board meeting (presenting the outputs of all those hours of spreadsheet hell!) so thought this was probably as good as I was going to get today...

Ever since he got his science book at the weekend, Little G has been badgering me to try out the first experiment in the book, rocket balloons. We picked up some straws during our shopping trip yesterday, so there were no more excuses. Very simple, but really rather fun (if a nightmare to photograph!) Ah well, 180+ blips in, I'm still happy with a snapshot ;-)
