Men at work

Or should I say disturbers of the Peace. After all the trauma of the past couple of weeks I was looking forward to a peaceful day with no noise with all those eight noisy dryers having been silenced. No that was not to be, men and machinery arrived first thing to work all day outside my house and others digging up the street to put in fibre optic cable. Ye gods what a row especially when they had a compactor working when they were filling it back in it was like having a very large helicopter hovering in the driveway. But as they say it’s so called progress.
