Hanging on

These wee hearts have been hanging on for a while now.........they're like lovers resisting their inevitable separation, they know their end isn't far away but they continue to hang on for just....one....more....day.  Their love has kept them together for another day today for which they are thankful, but there is no promise of a tomorrow for them.........
