Lac de Chavonnes

A lovely 12 km hike today in the mountains. It is one of my favourites and I just love the view of this lake - the water is always such a beautiful colour! Our last walk here was Nov 6th, before the snow. See tags. 
Extras: we found summer snow - very unusual to still have snow at this time of year. Carpets of crocuses where the snow has just melted.
