Going, going, gone

I’d a very brief visit this afternoon to the city centre. All very depressing. The biggest shopping shock to the city has been the closure of John Lewis, although the shop has been increasingly quiet over the last few years. The chief tells me that some of the good ladies of Aberdeen were so unhappy abut the closure that they cut up their John Lewis cards and posted them back to the company.
