A good early start, lots done then out for. A bike ride….

I went down a route I’ve been meaning to try for ages, it was great until I got to the end, a wall of nettles. So I went off across the nearest field and ended up on fleam dyke. An ancient route which is a site of scientific interest and bikes are banned. I walked a bit then got told off by a rambler for having bike!! I pointed out that the rule was no cycling not having a bike. He harumphed lot. As soon as I got back in normal routes I hopped back on and headed back home via the Roman rd. very quiet and so I was bike to make good speed, well until a mild off! No damage and the stings will heal.

After work I went into town for beers and dinner with my team. Lovely to see them all in real life. Roll on normality!
