Underwater

It was so so hot today that I suggested to Paul ( he’s not at his best with heat and hay fever ) that we take a picnic to Portland Bill . It really was boiling even there but we took an umbrella and sat on rocks near the sea . Bliss ! I managed to dangle my feet in the water eventually. So refreshing . 
I love the long evenings when I’ve been able to sit reading in the Sumnerhouse . We’ve not been watching much tv and I haven’t missed it ,
