Out with the Old...
Backblipped 14.03.12
Well this morning it was finally time for the old tulips to go as David arrived home with a new bunch for me last night. Never seen this kind of feather edged tulips before, or as they are now known in our house, hairy tulips! :)
Rachel arrived at 10.30am to go over and update Alan's support plan to ensure his new support worker has lots of information before he starts working with Alan. It took us till almost 3.00pm to complete it, although we did stop for lunch.
It's about 3 years since it was last updated and I was amazed at how much Alan has changed in that time. Much more mature and lots of things he liked doing then that just hold no interest for him now. All part of growing up.
Eddie, Alan's new support worker, officially starts tomorrow but it will be a few weeks before Alan's let loose alone with him. Steep learning curve coming up for Eddie so we shall break him in gently. Don't want him running screaming for the hills after 3 weeks! :D
Due to longer time spent with Rachel than planned, I was a bit disorganised when it came to tea so David brought in fish suppers. We don't have them very often and normally that's something we would both enjoy but it would appear we've taken a bit of a scunner to them. Who'd a thunk it!
