Weird weather shot (with brewery!)

I know that this is not a very exciting shot but Blip is for sharing things and so many people have been commenting on the weather that I thought I would add my piece.
This is the confluence of the Derwent and the Cocker. As regular readers will know ('cos every so often I refer to it) in November 2009 the Derwent was so full and fast that the Cocker backed up and ran down Cockermouth main steet at a hight of eight feet causing total devistation.
February is known as 'fill dyke' . Just look at these two rivers in mid- March! What on earth is going on with the weather?
The brewery you can see is Jennings. Some very nice beer but not nearly as good as produced by our friend Hayley for Cumbria Legendary Ales.
The building work you can see is on-going flood defences - Cockermouth main street now looks beautiful and won an English Heritage award. It has no intention of being flooded again; by the look of these rivers...but remember last year when someone said the word 'Hose-pipe ban'?
